
TO ALL LCDCS'S & LCDP'S The Department of Health sent out postcards on Thursday, August 12, 2010 with information regarding the process to renew your license. This postcard included a Registration Code unique to each licensee. You must use this Registration Code to register and renew your license online. You must renew your license by SEPTEMBER 15, 2010. The fee for Relicensure is $50.00 plus a Service Fee of $4.00. (If you cannot use electronic payment, please contact the Department of Health to request a paper renewal form. This method will take more time to complete. Paper applications must be submitted to the Department of Health by September 10, 2010.) If you DID NOT receive a postcard with instructions, please contact the Department of Health IMMEDIATELY at elicense@health.ri.gov PLEASE NOTE: You MUST be currently certified by the RIBCCDP in order to be eligible to be relicensed through the Dept. of Health. posted 8/30/2010 ________________________________________________________ PLEASE NOTE: IMPORTANT UPDATE All Licensing of LCDP & LCDCS has transferred to the Department of Health. PLEASE NOTE: The Fee for ACDP II/ACDP or CDCS application is $200.00. Upon successful passing of the ICRC/AODA written examination. Applicants will be sent a License application with their scores. Completed License applications should be sent to the Dept. of Health . The Recertification fee for ACDPII/ACDP's & CDCS's will be $215. Your relicensing fee will be paid directly to the Department of Health prior to receiving your new license in 2010. All counselors have received a certificate identifying the reciprocal credential they have been awarded. Please note the expiration date on this certificate. All recertification documentation must be received sixty (60) days prior to this expiration date. The RIBCCDP will send out notices to Professionals three (3) months prior to their deadline date. Included with this notification will be a Recertification Manual. If you do not submit your continuing education by the deadline date, the Department of Health will be notified that your certification has expired. Your License status will reflect "INACTIVE" and will not be activated until you submit the required continuing education and fees.
